JLP says party leader’s court matter with Integrity Commission will not affect election campaign
Jamaicans are more concerned with the performance of the Government and how it impacts their communities than they are about the Prime Minister’s court challenge to the Integrity Commission (IC).
That’s according to Jamaica Labour Party Campaign Committee Chairman, Dr. Christopher Tufton, while speaking at a press conference on the Party’s campaign status this afternoon.
Dr. Tufton was responding to queries about whether Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness’s challenge to a recent IC report would affect the Party’s election campaign.
He said the Prime Minister has a right to pursue his case if he believes he is aggrieved.
Dr. Tufton said Jamaicans remain confident in Dr. Holness’s leadership.
