JLP says a minority Government is not in place
Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Communication Chairman, Abka Fitz-Henley says the Holness-administration is focused on doing the work required by the people and will not be distracted by false narratives in the public domain.
His statement follows recent suggestions that a minority Government is in place following the September 3 general election.
The JLP secured 35 seats compared to the PNP’s 28.
Mr. Fitz-Henley said in the interest of preserving Jamaica’s democratic processes, greater maturity and truthfulness are needed in the public discourse following the JLP’s victory.
He pointed out that a minority Government is not in place.
