Local Government Minister and Deputy Leader of the Jamaica Labour Party Desmond McKenzie has refuted claims that the JLP is using Government resources for its campaign.

There have been accusations from the Opposition People’s National Party over the alleged use of taxpayer funds to finance what it described as “vulgar, self-serving political propaganda, disguised as public service announcements”.

Speaking at a recent St. Andrew North Western Constituency meeting, Mr. McKenzie stressed that the JLP does not have to use taxpayers’ resources for its campaign.
