JLP and PNP to face off in economy debate later today

The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) and the People’s National Party (PNP) are to face off in the second political debate later today.

They began the series on Saturday with a debate on social issues.

This evening, the debate will be centred on the economy.

The JLP will be represented by Fayval Williams, Dr. Christopher Tufton and Dr. Dana Morris-Dixon.

The PNP’s Julian Robinson, Peter Bunting and Kisha Anderson will challenge them.

The final debate – the leadership debate with the JLP’s Dr. Andrew Holness and the PNP’s Mark Golding – is scheduled for Thursday, August 28.

The debates are being staged at the Creative Production & Training Centre in Kingston, and will be broadcast live on radio and television.

It will also be streamed on websites and via social media.
