World top shooter Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard and the world class defender Shamera Sterling-Humphrey will make thier return to the Senior Sunshine Girls squad.

Both ladies who were out of action on maternity leave, have been named co-captains of the Sunshine Girls team for the upcoming Horizon Netball Series against England’s Vitality Roses set for next month.

The other members of the squad include Gezelle Allison, Azara Wilmot, Shanice Beckford, Latanya Wilson, Jodi-Ann Ward, Kadie-Ann Dehaney, Crystal Plummer, Nicole Dixon-Rochester, Abigale Sutherland and Brie Grierson.

The non-travelling reserves are Rhea Dixon, Kimone Shaw and Adean Thomas.

The team announcement follows an outstanding year for the Sunshine Girls, who copped silver medals at both the 2026 Commonwealth Games and the CAC Games.

The London leg will feature the Jamaica Suns, Jamaica’s national men’s team, who have been invited by England’s men’s national team, the England Thorns, to play curtain-raisers on November 21 and 22 at London’s Copper Box Arena.

For the Jamaica leg, England’s Roses Pathway Team will play a three-match series against Jamaica’s development squad on December 3, 5 and 6.

The December 5 and 6 matches will serve as curtain-raisers for the senior women’s internationals at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston.

Jamaica will be seeking to reclaim the Rhone-Hornsby Trophy, having won the inaugural series in 2024 before England took it in 2025, when only the England leg was played due to the effects of Hurricane Melissa on the island.
