JFJ stages protest in HWT today calling for increased accountability in police force; cop supporters stage counter protest
Several placard-bearing protesters took to the streets in Half-Way-Tree in Kingston this afternoon to further press for increased accountability within the police force, especially through the use of body-worn cameras (BWCs).
This amidst concern over the number of police fatal shootings so far this year.
Human rights lobby group, Jamaicans for Justice (JFJ) lead the protest.
Shanice Gibbs was on location and filed this report.
