JFF President Michael Rickettes elected unopposed as Vice-president of Caribbean Football Union
Jamaica Football Federation President Michael Rickettes has been elected unopposed as vice-president of the Caribbean Football Union.
This took place at the 48th Ordinary Congress of the CFU yesterday at the Royalton Hotel in St. Lucia, where Lyndon Cooper of St Lucia was elected as the new president replacing Randolph Harris of Barbados.
Copper, who has served as vice president of the CFU Executive Committee since 2012, was unopposed and therefore, elected by acclamation in accordance with the CFU statutes.
The other elected officers to the Executive Committee along with Rickettes are John Krishnadath of Suriname, Mr. Jean Dartron of Guadeloupe and Ivan Rivera of Puerto Rico.
The members are Glen Etienne of Dominica, Anya James of the Bahamas, Gordon Connor of Anguilla, and Mark Wade of bermuda.
Outgoing CFU president Harris, was elected by acclamation as a member of the Fifa council on Saturday at Concacaf’s 40th ordinary Congress.
Fifa president Gianni Infantino and Concacaf President Victor Montagliani were in attendance at the CFU Congress.
