Jessie Ripoll Primary School Board to hold discussions with staff tomorrow, following death of principal
The board of the Jessie Ripoll Primary School in Kingston has indicated that discussions will be held with staff tomorrow, about the support to be given to grieving members and students.
This after school Principal O’Neil Stevens and his wife, Camesha Lindsay-Stevens were killed in a motor vehicle crash in the United States, on Friday.
Board chairman Marcia Thwaites noted that the situation is a difficult one to cope with, because the resumption of classes after the Christmas break, has been marred by the principal’s untimely death.
She described the late principal as a caring and wise individual who contributed greatly to building Jessie Ripoll’s reputation.
The school board chairman said Mr. Stevens will not only be missed by the Jessie Ripoll community.
This as he served several other institutions in Kingston, through the quality education circle.
