Jeremy Harding sounds off on Dancehall, record labels & Kartel’s global reach
From talks about major record labels to Vybz Kartel’s growing international appeal, veteran producer Jeremy Harding has made some bold statements.
During his Road To Success interview on the Easy Skankin show with Kshema Francis on Thursday, Harding noted that entertainers don’t mutually part ways with record companies—more often, they’re dropped due to non-performance.
Jeremy Harding, who is credited with launching Sean Paul to international stardom, also stated that he doesn’t believe Kartel’s international appeal has reignited Dancehall on the global stage.
From Beenie Man’s Who Am I to bangers with Sean Paul, Mr. Vegas, Elephant Man, T.O.K., and more, Harding has crafted era-defining Dancehall hits.
