World Under 20 triple jump record holder Jaydon Hibbert says his recovery has been going well, nearly three months since he underwent surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left knee. 

Hibbert who turned professional in January sustained a torn miniscus during the Jamaica National Championships in June but despite the setback, went on to make his first Olympic appearance where he finished fourth with an effort measuring 17. 61 metres. 

Paris marked hibbert’s second qualification for a major global championship, following his appearance at last year’s World Athletics Championships in Budapest, where he also faced disappointment as an injury forced him to withdraw from the final after just one jump.  

Speaking Irie Fm sports, he says his recovery process is well on track ahead of next season .
