Reggae Boyz kit ranked second best jersey at Copa America

The Adidas kit worn by Jamaica’s Reggae Boys according to an ESPN ranking is the second best jersey at the 2024 Copa America which gets underway on June 20 at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Atlanta.

In it’s assessment the North American media giant said “The primary Jamaican kit doesn’t reach the same heights as its gorgeous secondary, but it does the job well enough. There’s a subtle pattern on the main yellow panel, but in most pictures it’s too hard to actually see it.”

The article went on to heap praises on Jamaica’s second kit which it describes as an “Outstanding display of team colors and national identity being presented in a visually distinct and interesting way that still looks like a kit,” adding “It is bound to have crossover appeal,” and “Is the single best jersey in the entire tournament.”

Mexico’s kit, which is sponsored by Adidas, was ranked the top jersey at Copa America 2024 with the Marathon designed Bolivia kit in third, followed by Peru (Adidas) and Brazil (Nike).

The Copa America is scheduled to run from June 20 to July 14. It kicks off with defending champions Argentina facing Canada in Atlanta.

The Reggae Boyz have been drawn in Group B and open their campaign against Mexico at NRG Stadium in Houston.
