Entertainer Yaksta says the high murder rate currently in Jamaica is very alarming.

The St. Mary-born entertainer was speaking with Music News Friday (Sept 23) about his latest song Numb, which tells the tale of losing a friend to gun violence.

Yaksta is currently working on his debut EP titled 22, which will be released before the year ends. Yakasta reveals that the project will feature former sprint legend Usain Bolt in the capacity of a producer, and a collab with Chronic Law.

Yaksta, who will make his debut at Sting 2022, recently wrapped up his US summer tour.
