Jamaica’s Forensic Pathology Autopsy Suite which is the first of its kind in the Caribbean, is being opened today.

The commissioning ceremony is underway in Downtown, Kingston.

The facility is expected to increase the forensic capacity of the Jamaica Constabulary Force and reduce the backlog of criminal and other cases.

Speaking at the opening ceremony Mayor of Kingston Andrew Swaby said this facility will help in the swift delivery of justice.
