Rohan Marley and Dancehall deejay Posh Morris are among the many Jamaicans congratulating chef Darian Bryan following his victory on Season 5 of Next Level Chef a culinary competition hosted by Gordon Ramsay.

The Jamaican-born, Buffalo-based chef who walked away with the US$250,000 grand prize, thanked his family and shout out Jamaica during his victory speech.

In the comment section, Rohan Marley wrote, “Major win my brother… Passion is everything,” while Posh Morris reacted with applause and fire emojis.

During the season finale, Bryan secured the win with a standout trio of dishes, a pepper lobster appetizer, sea bass escovitch, and seared duck breast.
