Jamaican  winger Leon  Bailey,  came  on  as   a  substitute   in  the  83rd  minute,  as  his  team  Aston  Villa, secured  a  1-nil  win  over  Lille, in  the  first  leg  of  their  Europa  League  last  16  tie  on Thursday. 

Ollie  Watkins,  scored  a  header  from  the  center  of  the  box  in  the  61st  minute,  to  ensure  Villa  has  a  one  goal  cushion  heading into  the  return  leg,  in  England,  next  Thursday.

Meanwhile, Nottingham  Forest,  went  down 1-nil  to FC Midtjyllan in  their  first  leg  game  at  the  City  Ground,  it  was  substitute  Cho  Guesung, who scored  the  winner  for  the  Danish  club,  in  the  80th  minute  in  rain  and  windy  conditions.

In  other  round  of  16  scores  today,  Porto  secured  a  2-1  win  against  Stuttgart, while in other games Panathinaikos   squeezed  out  a  1-nil  triumph  over   Real  Betis,  while the points were shared in the clash between Bologna  and  Roma  which ended in a one all draw.
