With a possible US ban looming on the horizon for Tik Tok, Jamaican streamers are making a mad rush for mobile live streaming app, Favorited.

In a social media live yesterday, one of the creators of the app while extending welcome to Jamaicans using the app, acknowledged the presence of content creators Swiss Lee and World Dawg whose influence, due to their huge following have made a significant impact on the platform, making it the number one app in Jamaica.

While sharing his experience about using the platform, social media personality, World Dawg revealed that he was the first Jamaican to be verified on the platform.

Developed by California based, Like Labs Inc, Favorited is a relatively new mobile live streaming app, with some users revealing that they have been using the platform from as far back as April this year.

It is designed to enhance interactivity between streamers and their audiences. The platform allows followers to gift content creators in a similar fashion as Tik Tok with a 70-30 split in the dividends with the content creator receiving the larger portion.

The app is available for download in the App Store and in Google Playstore.
