Jamaican companies participate in April Fools Day prank

Jamaican companies are getting creative with April Fools’ Day pranks on social media.

Supreme Ventures sparked outrage by announcing the discontinuation of the popular Cashpot games, while the Passport Immigration and Citizens Agency PICA joked about adjusting application times for citizens.

Starbucks claimed to have added a curry goat frappé to their menu, and Excelsior introduced “Fried Dumplins” and “Mini Munchables” – a lunch pack featuring crackers, ackee, saltfish, and blue draws.

Other companies joining in on the fun include

Pizza Hut Introducing a curry goat pizza and Kiss Cakes adding ice cream to their offerings. These light-hearted pranks aimed to entertain and engage audiences, showcasing the companies’ playful sides.
