Jamaican batsman Brandon King named in West Indies 15-member squad for ODI’S against Ireland and England

Jamaican batsman Brandon King has been named in the Cricket West Indies 15-member squad for One Day International (ODI) matches against Ireland from May 21-25 and another three games against England from May 29 to June 3.

The squad features the nucleus of players who were successful during home series wins against England and Bangladesh back in 2024. 

The full squad led by captain Shai Hope features, Brandon King, Jewel Andrew, Keacy Carty, Roston Chase, Matthew Forde, Justin Greaves, Amir Jangoo, Alzarri Joseph and Shamar Joseph.

Its completed by : Evin Lewis, Gudakesh Motie, Sherfane Rutherford, Jayden Seales, and Romario Shepherd .

Ireland will host the Caribbean side in three ODI matches in Dublin, with the first game bowling off on the 21st of May, followed by the second match on May 23 before the series climaxes on May 25. 

Both sides will also meet in a three T/20 Internationals in Bready, on June 12, 14 and 15.

Meanwhile, the ODI series in England begins at Egbaston on May 29, with the second game at Sophia Gardens on June 1, before wrapping up at the  Oval on June 3. 

Cricket West Indies also announced changes to the coaching staff for the tour, as former West Indies fast bowler and 2012 World Cup champion Ravi Rampaul will be the team’s bowling coach, replacing James Franklin.
