Jamaican-American Lauderhill Vice Mayor, Richard Campbell jailed on domestic violence charge

Lauderhill Vice Mayor, Richard Campbell, who is also of Jamaican heritage is now behind bars.

According to Broward jail records, the 70-year-old, who was arrested yesterday afternoon was charged with simple domestic battery and tampering or arresting a witness or victim which is a felony.

As NBC 6 South Florida reports, Campbell was last elected two years ago and is now on the ballot, campaigning for City Commission Seat 4.
