Jamaica Teachers’ Association lauds efforts of school administrators offering Hurricane Beryl support to educators
The Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA) has lauded the efforts of school administrators who have been offering Hurricane Beryl relief support to educators and other staff.
According to JTA President Leighton Johnson, several teachers, especially those from Manchester, St. Elizabeth and Westmoreland suffered severe loss when the Category 4 system passed over the island last month.
Noting that the recovery period has been challenging for many, Mr. Johnson said the hurricane has highlighted the supportive and caring nature of several school administrators across the country.
