Jamaica records decline in visitor arrivals between September and November, this year
Jamaica recorded a decline in visitor arrivals between September and November this year.
This was revealed by Chairman of the Economic Programme Oversight Committee (EPOC), Keith Duncan, at a press briefing this morning.
He noted that the biggest decline was seen in September, when arrivals were down by 6.4% compared to the similar period last year.
Mr. Duncan said a reduction in flights, the presidential election in the United States, among other factors, led to a slowing of travel.
