Jamaica Kingsmen suffers third straight loss

New Jamaica franchise Jamaica Kingsmen is still without a win after three matches so far in the 2026 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League.
This after they were beaten by six wickets by the Guyana Amazon Warriors at Sabina Park last night
Reeza Hendricks with 40 from 32 balls was the best batsman for the Kingsmen after they were asked to bat first
captain Rovman Powell with 24, Kirk Mckenzie 16 and Vitel Lawes 14 the only other batters to get to double figures as the Kingsmen was bowled out in the final over for 117
Mohammed Nabi did most of the damage with the ball grabbing 4 for 22, while Shamar Joseph and Imran Tahir picked up two wickets each
Shai Hope with 2 fours and 4 sixes in his unbeaten 56 from 41 balls paved the way for the Guyana Amazon Warrior’s victory at 118 for 4 with 35 balls to spare.
Glenn Phillips at the top of the batting order got 28 and Nabi chipped in with 19, against Andre Russell 2 for 12, Jediah Blades 1 for 20 and Vitel Lawes 1 for 37
