Jamaica holds firm as the 6th ranked team in Concacaf

Jamaica remains in the number 6 spot in the latest Concacaf Rankings released on Wednesday after amassing 1,552 points.

The announcement comes after a day after the Reggae Boyz defeated St. Vincent and the Grenadines 3-0 at Sabina Park for a 4-1 aggregate victory that saw them earn a 14th Concacaf Gold Cup appearance. The Jamaicans, by holding firm at number 6, remains the highest-ranked Caribbean team.

At the top of the rankings, Mexico maintains its position as the leader with 1,946 points, following their recent victory in the Concacaf Nations League final.

Canada climbed to second place with 1,837 points while Panama, who fell short in the Nations League final, moved up to third place with 1,778 points. Former champions United States dropped to fourth with 1,712 points with Costa Rica rounding out the top five on 1,668 points.

The top 10 is completed by Honduras, Haiti, Guatemala, and Trinidad and Tobago.
