“Jamaica has lost a stalwart” – colleagues mourn Sergeant Patrick Brown, killed in Manchester crash yesterday
Colleagues of the late Sergeant Patrick Brown say the Police Force and Jamaica have lost a real stalwart.
The Sergeant, who is attached to the Manchester Division’s Operations Support Team, was killed in a motor vehicle crash in the parish yesterday.
His two children, who were travelling with him at the time of the crash, remain under medical care.
Many of his colleagues have expressed sadness at his death.
One of them recounted how Sergeant Brown worked hard to serve Jamaica up to the day prior to his death.
The Constabulary’s Chaplaincy Services Branch, its Welfare Division and the Police Federation have been mobilised and are actively engaging with Sergeant Brown’s family and affected colleagues.
