Jamaica Drawn in Group “B” for Concacaf Under-20 Qualifiers

Jamaica’s Under-20 men’s footballers will face Puerto Rico, St. Kitts and Nevis, Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands, and Bonaire in Group “B” of the upcoming Concacaf Under-20 Qualifiers.

The official draw took place earlier this morning, setting the stage for the opening phase of the competition, which runs from February 23 to March 4.

The young Reggae Boyz will need to finish top of their group to progress to the final round of qualification, where they will vie for a spot in the 2026 Concacaf Under-20 Championship.

Elsewhere in the draw:

  • Group A features El Salvador, Belize, Suriname, Grenada, St. Martin, and French Guiana.
  • Group C includes the Dominican Republic, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Lucia, British Virgin Islands, and Dominica.
  • Group D brings together Haiti, Curaçao, Guyana, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla.
  • Group E has Costa Rica, Trinidad and Tobago, Bermuda, Barbados, and St. Maarten.
  • Group F will see Canada, Nicaragua, Aruba, Martinique, and the U.S. Virgin Islands battling for qualification.

After round-robin play, the first-place team from each group will advance to the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship, joining the six top-ranked nations that are pre-qualified directly to the tournament: United States, Mexico, Honduras, Panama, Cuba, and Guatemala.

The tournament will also serve as the qualifying competition for both the 2027 FIFA Men’s U-20 World Cup and 2028 Summer Olympics. The matches will take place across venues in three nations: Costa Rica, Curaçao and Nicaragua.
