Jamaica creates more history at the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship in California
Unbeaten Jamaica continues to create history, after becoming one of six teams to advance to the quarterfinals at the 2023 World Lacrosse men’s Championship in San Diego, California.
This after pulling off a 7-6 upset win over number 7 ranked Italy to keep their unbeaten run intact.
The Jamaicans with the result picked up a 5th win from as many games and set up a big last 16 clash against global powerhouse Canada.
In other select games yesterday, England edged Puerto Rico 7-6 to also make progress, the 6th ranked Japan posted a 9-4 win over Germany while number 4 ranked Australia ran out 18-7 winners over the Netherlands.
