Jamaica Charity for the Disabled welcomes Golding’s plan to establish disability fund under PNP gov’t
The Jamaica Charity for the Homeless and Disabled has welcomed Opposition Leader Mark Golding’s announcement that if his party forms the next government, he will establish a National Disability Fund.
Mr. Golding made the statement during his contribution to the Budget Debate in Parliament on Tuesday.
In a statement this morning Executive Director of Jamaica Charity for the Homeless and Disabled, Cleon Porter said Mr Golding’s commitments represent a significant step toward ensuring that the voices of persons with disabilities are heard and that their needs are met.
