Sierra Leone’s Tourism Minister Nabeela Tunis, speaking on Irie FM’s The Africa Forum with Kabu Maat Kheru yesterday, said discussions have been taking place to boost the tourism relationship between both countries.

She said the countries have been working to increase cultural exchange.

She further stated that the connection is not only about tourism, but about the historical link between the countries.

In the meantime, Honorary  Consul for the Republic of Sierra Leone to Jamaica Professor Rosalee Hamilton said since the establishment of the consulate in 2023 its mandate of strengthening historical and cultural ties between the nations has been met.
