Jacqueline Cowan retains Presidency of Jamaica Volleyball Association
Jacqueline Cowan has retained the Presidency of the Jamaica Volleyball Association.
Cowan who is also the first Vice President of the Jamaica Olympic Association, was re-elected to the post on the weekend, after brushing aside the challenge of Media Executive Dr. Claire Grant, by a vote of 22 to 12.
This at the Annual General Meeting of the Jamaica Volleyball Association at the offices of the Sports Development Foundation in Kingston.
Cowan, was is the current General Secretary of the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association, CAZOVA, took over the leadership of JAVA back in November of 2020, when she replaced Rudolph Spied who did not seek re-election .
Meanwhile, Audley Weir was returned as General Secretary, while Fiona Binns was elected as the New Treasurer, after defeating Abiola Bertram.
