JAAA and the Tottoro Government signs Memorandum of Understanding
The Jamaica Athletics Administrative association (JAAA) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tottori government in Japan, where both countries will mutually benefit from track and field training for their athletes and coaches .
A dollar figure was not announced for the deal which carries the component of Jamaican athletes using the city of Tottori as their official training base leading up to the 2025 World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, while also competing at track meetings in japan through invitation.
The deal was signed by the chairman of the Tottori government assembly, Shinichi Hamasaki and J-3-A’s president Garth Gayle.
Gayle expressed delight at the historic signing and says its a dream come through for Jamaica.
