Islam Minister says Jamaica’s bid to remove the Queen as head of state was long overdue
Minister David Muhammad of the nation of Islam, has stated that Jamaica’s bid to remove the queen as head of state, was long overdue.
Speaking at Irie Fm’s tribute to Marcus Garvey yesterday, Minister Muhammad, said Jamaica should have followed countries like Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago a long time ago.
He pointed out that to be fully independent, the first step is to de–colonize the mind.
This he said can be acheived by properly educating the people.
