IRIE FM’S DJ Smurf is among the industry players mourning the loss of Renaissance spinner Ryan Williams better known as DJ Smoke.

DJ Smurf remembers the fallen DJ as a jovial person and a crowd pleaser when executing his craft.

Yesterday May 30, news surfaced that DJ Smoke had died.

The official Instagram of Renaissance confirmed his passing in a post, writing in part- “We take this time to mourn our family DJ Smoke who has transitioned to another life. Our journey with our brother has been impactful to the industry and his legacy will live on.”

Other industry players expressing sadness at the DJ’s untimely death include Bounty Killer, ZJ Sparkes, Craigy T and ZJ Vybz.
