Reggae Radio IRIE FM will kick off its 35th anniversary celebrations with the launch of IRIE 35 tomorrow.

A number of events have been planned for the month-long celebration.

IRIE FM officially began broadcasting on August 1, 1990 from its studios in Ocho Rios St. Ann.

35 years later it remains the leading radio station highlighting  the island’s culture and   promoting Jamaican music, while keeping its listeners updated with  news, sports and entertainment.

Tomorrow’s launch will take place during its flagship entertainment programme Entertainment Buzz at Kaya Ocho Rios between 8:30 and 10 pm.

Other events to mark the anniversary will be announced at  the launch.
