In their second innings, the Jamaica Scorpions reached 26 for 1 at stumps, trailing by 36 runs with opener Carlos Brown dismissed early for just 4 runs.

Captain John Campbell, standing firm on 8*, and Kirk McKenzie (14*) are sharing a second-wicket partnership of 19 runs, setting the stage for an intriguing third day. Kemar Roach, with figures of 1 for 10, was the lone wicket-taker for the Pride.

Earlier in the day, the Barbados Pride resumed their first innings at 9 without loss, eventually posting a competitive 293 all out, securing a 62-run first-innings lead over the Scorpions.

Windward Islands Volcanoes Narrowly Ahead

At Windsor Park in Dominica, the Windward Islands Volcanoes hold a slender 16-run lead over the Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC) after the end of Day 2. The Volcanoes finished on 232 for 8 in their first innings, in reply to CCC’s 216 all out.

Kenneth Dember (40) and Darel Cyrus (13) are still at the crease, with the pair sharing an unbroken 9th-wicket partnership of 28 runs.

Rain Disrupts Play in Guyana

Over at the Guyana National Stadium, the entire second day’s play in the day/night contest between the West Indies Academy and defending champions Guyana Harpy Eagles was lost because of rain. The Harpy Eagles, had been aiming to return on their overnight 87 for 4 with Kemol Savory unbeaten on 20 and Kevin Sinclair not out on 8.
