International Paralympic Committee President to visit Jamaica for the first time
President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), Andrew Parsons will pay a visit to Jamaica for the first time next week.
He is scheduled to arrive in the island on Sunday February 2 and depart on February 6.
While in Jamaica, the 47 year old Brazilian who is a journalist by profession, will make courtesy visit with the Opposition Leader Mark Golding and Sports Minister Olivia Grange among his several stops.
He will also look at the policies and structures of the Jamaica Paralympic Association.

Parsons has been president of the IPA since September 2017 after taking over from Sir Philip Craven, who had been in office since 2001.
Michele Formante, the Executive Director of the Americas Paralympic Committee will accompany the IPC president on the visit.
