Information Minister Dr. Dana Morris Dixon has called on the island’s churches to pray for the leaders of the country. 

She made the plea at this morning’s church service to mark the start of Journalism Week .

According to Dr. Morris-Dixon leaders face temptations and urges which might take them down the wrong path. 

She said whenever members of the church community congregate they should always utter a word of prayer for the island’s leaders. 

She said with the many issues facing the country to include crime and violence all stakeholders must unite to move the country forward.
