INDECOM will not proceed with Noel Maitland interview after murder charge; child’s mother to still be questioned tomorrow
The Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM says it will not proceed with plans to interview Constable Noel Maitland.
Constable Maitland was slated to be interviewed tomorrow (August 3), in relation to the disappearance of his girlfriend, Donna-lee Donaldson.
However, he was charged in relation to her death, today (August 2).
Assistant Commissioner of INDECOM, Hamish Campbell told Irie Fm News, that in light of this, Maitland will no longer be interviewed.
The mother of Maitland’s child who is a District Constable, was also slated to be interviewed by INDECOM as a witness, tomorrow (August 3).
Mr. Campbell said that interview will be conducted as planned.
Meantime, Attorney-at-law representing the female District Constable, Oswest Senior Smith, says preparations are underway, for the interview session at 11am, tomorrow.
