INDECOM probing wounding of woman reportedly by a policeman in Montego Bay
The Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM is probing the wounding of a woman, who was allegedly shot by a policeman in Montego Bay, St. James, yesterday (October 17).
A video of a portion of the incident, which occurred along Union Street, has been circulating on social media.
Assistant Commissioner at INDECOM, Hamish Campbell told Irie-FM News that both parties involved inflicted wounds to each other, which resulted in both of them being hospitalised.
He said as soon as they are released the investigation will progress with statements being collected.
