Two men were fatally shot by police in St. Andrew and St. Catherine, yesterday.

One of the deceased has been identified as 36 year old Roger Linton of Florence Way, Kingston 7. 

Roger is said to be the brother of alleged gang leader Christopher “Dog Paw” Linton, who was fatally shot by police in October 2021.

Roger was shot dead during an alleged confrontation with police on Tavern Drive, Kingston 7, shortly after 9 last evening.

Police reportedly seized a 9 millimetre pistol with 20 cartridges from him.

Meanwhile, the other man who has not yet been identified, was shot by police on Cumberland Boulevard, in Portmore, St. Catherine at about 10 p m.

Commissioner of the Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM Hugh Faulkner told Irie FM News that the man was shot after he reportedly attacked an officer.

He said both incidents are being investigated.
