The Independent Commission of  Investigations (INDECOM) is probing the fatal shooting of a man in Nannyville, Kingston this morning.

Dead is 28 years old Nicardo Lewis of Blue Mountain Drive, Nannyville.

Assistant Commissioner of INDECOM, Hamish Campbell said reports indicate that lawmen shot Lewis during a planned operation at about 4:00 A.M.

218 people have been fatally shot by members of the security forces since the start of the year.
