The inaugural One Day Marland Nattie legends 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will be staged at the National Stadium Courts on October 12. 

The tournament will be played in three categories, Open Male, Male Under 19 and an Open Female Division, with four players per team. 

Registrations starts at 8 in the morning with action tipping off at 10. 

The tournament is named after the former President and long serving former General Secretary of the Jamaica Basketball Association Marland Nattie, who passed away last October. 

Nattie who served as a Vice President in charge of development at the Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC), was instrumental in the Caribbean Basketball Championship being staged in Jamaica in 2006……..and before that he led the Local Organizing Committee(LOC) when Jamaica hosted the Junior Caricom Basketball Championship at the National Arena in 1997.
