IDB President not in favour of people being left behind due to technological advancements
President of the Inter American Development Bank Ilan Goldfajn, says he does not like the idea of people being left behind, due to technological advancements.
Speaking at the outsource to Latin America and the Caribbean Global Digital Services summit in Montego Bay, St James, on Thursday the IDB president said people must be included in future advancements.
He said if technology seeks to replace humans, the end product will not be successful.
The IDB president said as the world becomes more digitized, Latin America and Caribbean countries must ensure that their citizens benefit from the advancements.
