Prime Minister Andrew Holness has written to Governor General Sir Patrick Allen, recommending the appointment of three new senators.

The announcement follows the resignation of Senators Matthew Samuda, Delroy Williams and Ransford Braham.

In a release lastnight, the prime minister listed Dr. Elon Thompson, Mr. Marlon Morgan and Senior Communication Strategist in the Ministry of Tourism Delano Seiveright as replacements.

Prime Minister Holness underscored that these nominations reflect his administration’s continued commitment to strong, effective leadership and governance.

He highlighted that the new senators bring a wealth of experience and expertise that will bolster the government’s legislative efforts and further national priorities.
