Holness urges Jamaican diaspora to invest in the country
Prime Minister Andrew Holness is urging Jamaicans living abroad to invest in Jamaica, as a means to drive economic growth, create jobs and improve living standards.
In his recent call to the diaspora, Mr. Holness emphasized the need to increase the country’s productivity by attracting new businesses and industries.
The prime minister explained that boosting the nation’s output would be crucial in keeping the cost of living stable and maintaining purchasing power for citizens.
He also stressed the importance of upkilling and training the local labour force to meet the demands of modern industries.
