Holness administration says he is “fit to lead” despite recent reports from Integrity Commission
Despite being the subject of recent reports from the Integrity Commission (IC), Prime Minister Andrew Holness is still viewed as “fit to lead” by members of his administration.
Information Minister, Dr. Dana Morris Dixon defended Mr. Holness’ reputation during a post-Cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House this morning.
This after being questioned by reporters about an IC report tabled in Parliament yesterday.
The report highlighted building approval breaches related to a property in Beverly Hills, St. Andrew.
It alleged that the Prime Minister is connected with the property – a claim that Mr. Holness has rejected.
Dr. Morris Dixon said the report is another attempt at tarnishing the character of a leader who continues to serve citizens and hold his Cabinet accountable amidst criticism.
