Holness acknowledges significant health concerns in Jamaica, says gov’t is working to address them
Prime Minister Andrew Holness says there are significant health care concerns in Jamaica, but the government is making massive investments to address them.
Responding to questions from Jamaicans in Canada at a town hall meeting last night (October 19), Mr. Holness said prior to his administration, Jamaica’s health system had not seen any significant investments in over thirty years.
He said the current administration has changed that.
The Prime Minister noted that his administration has also refurbished and rebuilt several clinics.
