Hollywood actress Sundra Oakley gives advice to local actors on how to make it big

Hollywood actress of Jamaican heritage Sundra Oakley has a word of advice for local actors who want to crossover into the mainstream international market.

Speaking with music news today, the actress probably best known for her role as the wife of Hollywood heartthrob Morris Chestnut in the popular TV series Legends says she learnt from working alongside actors like him that actors have to be prepared to continuously evolve to stay relevant and make it big. She says she learnt from actors like him that an actor can ruin their career by not being aware of what paradigms to discard.

Meanwhile, Emmy nominated American actor Dule Hill, best known for his role in the NBC drama series the West Wing will be among major international industry players making presentations at a 2 day event this Saturday May 18 and Sunday May 19 at the AC Hotel in New Kingston to discuss ‘the Business of Being an Actor. ‘

Sundra is urging actors with aspirations of making it to Hollywood and other established actors locally and internationally not to miss it, as lots of information and opportunities to network will be made available.
