Police have activated a high alert for a 14-year-old mother and her 10-month-old baby who have been missing from their home in Pepper District, St. Elizabeth, since Sunday.

They have been identified as Kenalya Burton otherwise called ‘Kay Kay’ and her daughter, Kiera Burton, otherwise called ‘Blessing’.

Kenalya is of brown complexion, stout build and about 5 feet 4 inches tall, while Kiera is of brown complexion.

Reports from the Santa Cruz police are that at about 10:45 a.m., Kenalya and Kiera were last seen at home.

Their mode of dress at the time they went missing is unknown, and they have not been heard from since.

Police are urging anyone who may know the whereabouts of Kenalya and Kiera to contact the Santa Cruz police at 876-966-2289, the 119 police emergency number or the nearest police station.
