The 28 Haitians who landed at Norwich in Portland on Monday were repatriated to their home country last evening.

They had been located during three separate instances and detained by the Portland police.

The Haitians were processed by the police as well as health and immigration officials before being repatriated.

The group consisted of 21 males, four females and three children.
