Haitians arrested during raid in Manchester charged with illegal entry
The five Haitians who were arrested during a raid at a house in Spring Ground, Christiana, Manchester at the weekend have been charged with illegal entry.
The charge was laid against the 4 men and a woman who is believed to be pregnant, following an interview by representatives from the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA), today.
Commanding Officer for the Manchester Police Acting Superintendent Lucas Daniels said the Haitians are scheduled to appear in court on Friday August 8.
A decision will then be made, if they should be sent back to Haiti.
